Potoo is a photo compression app for iPhone. It is designed to process photos locally on your device.

Data We Collect

Potoo does not collect personal data.

We do not operate user accounts, analytics tracking, advertising tracking, or a server for uploading your photos.

Photos and Local Processing

Potoo requests access to your photo library only so you can choose photos to compress, read photo metadata such as file size and resolution, and save compressed results back to Photos.

Photo compression is performed on your device. Your photos are not uploaded to our server.

If a photo is stored only in iCloud, iOS may download the original photo from iCloud before Potoo can process it. This download is handled by Apple’s system services, not by Potoo.

In-App Purchases

Potoo may offer a one-time in-app purchase, Potoo Pro, through Apple’s App Store. Purchase processing, payment information, refunds, and purchase history are handled by Apple.

Potoo checks App Store purchase entitlement locally through StoreKit to unlock paid features.

Potoo does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.

Children’s Privacy

Potoo is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes or when required by law. The latest version will be posted on this page.
